Hi, nice to meet you! Here is a little information about my journey into making bath and body products.
I graduated from SCAD in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in production design. I moved to Atlanta and got my first job that same year. After having our first son in 2023 I knew I could no longer dedicate myself to the long hours of film production. Family is my number one priority so I quit that job and moved my family back to my hometown in Alabama. However, I still had a longing to work with my hands and be creative. I grew up working in a day spa owned by my mom, aunt, and grandma (I call her Mema). Years ago, my Mema would make bath salts, foot butter, and soap to sell at the day spa, but life got busy, she got older and stopped making those things. I wanted to bring those handmade bath products back so I began with making a product that I had fallen in love with, whipped body butter. I spent many nights sitting up with my baby researching ingredients and formulas for all kinds of bath and body products. This business allows me to be present with my two little boys and put my artistic skills to use. Who knows what I'll make next...
